Joss Biggins practices mainly out of Vancouver. His office is located at Suite 1800, 1140 W Pender Street.
Joss is our second licensed Investment Advisor and Responsible Investment Specialist. Joss is also currently working towards obtaining his Certified Financial Planner designation and is deeply passionate about ethical wealth management.
Joss was born and raised on Hornby Island, British Columbia, an island widely known for its strong community values and socially aware inhabitants.
After high school, Joss left for Denmark to pursue basketball for a year before experiencing a serious knee injury. This led him back to Canada to study business at the University of Victoria.
Joss has spent the past three years completing his certifications to become a Registered Investment Advisor, RIS (Responsible Investment Specialist), and RIAC (Responsible Investment Association Certified), all while working in an assistant capacity to Anthony Edwards, and separately in an operations role at Leede Jones Gable’s Vancouver office.
In 2019 Joss became a fully licensed Investment Advisor and stepped into a larger role at EthicInvest as a partner and eventual successor. He is currently actively working towards his CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation. Joss is passionate about changing the narrative around ethical investment as well as doing everything he can to propel us into a sustainable future.
When not in the office you can find Joss coaching or playing basketball, practicing his Spanish in Nicaragua, or back in Vancouver climbing the Grouse Grind (where he quietly boasts a 38:44 minute personal best). Joss prides himself on his passion for curiosity, in fact you are more than likely to find him on any given day sitting in a coffee shop picking the brains of the most forward-thinking minds he can find.
